Alice: "If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? "

An Angel at Mardi Gras
They say angels are all around.... Well one showed up this year down in the gaslamp for Mardi Gras!!! Maybe she wanted to celebrate Fat Tuesday with everyone else??? Maybe have a vanilla cigar and a hurricane??? hee hee!!!! The characters for the night were as follows... Vanilla, Cherry, and Mango-mint... Names given by the cigar of choice! The parade was cheesily great!!!! The fire dancers brilliant and weird... ahhaha. Beads falling out of the night sky... a flashing, unexpected as we walked out of Urban Outfitters... oh my!!!! The guys who had recycle bins on their heads that danced with us in the crowd...The sites, the smells, the memories...

I'm a Tiger!!!! Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!
Mood: animallistic!!! hee hee!!! Location: The Wild Animal Park
The day was beautiful. The animals looking quite sharp! I have a few complaints though... what happend to the days of the red doubledecker tram... that was free I might add!!!! Booooo!!!! They now have these trams.. ( 1 story... boring!!!) that you have to pay to even ride around in... pout!!!! :( It's just sad. I have like truly a billion pictures from when I was a kid on that doubledecker. Looking out at all the animals. Those days are now gone. A little sad. We walked around the whole park. My fave parts of the day... the Lion that kept on posing so beautifully for my camera... then taking his break to claw at a tree. the hige Tiger of course that was just hangin out under the shade... the cheetahs that moved so graceful... So yeah the Cats rule!!!!! I also adore the elephants!!! And all the mamas just had babies. So there they were all a snuggle... Loved it!!!! On one hand I feel bad that all these beautiful creatures dont have all the land that they want to run free. The other part is so glad that I can look at them so close up. And isn't it strange to think like wow... we have these animals just like out in the middle of escondido.. hahahah what if they all went crazy and tried to be free??? hahaha... I'll leave you with that thought...

PB&J and being a kid....
So the other night my tummy did a little grumble. It wanted a midnight snack... so i crept in the kitchen quiet as a mouse and made a pb&j. Delish!!! Everytime I eat one of these delightful sandwiches it's like a time machine to my past when pb&j's were all that me and my lil bro would eat... the times where dolls, slinkys, flying kites, blowing on pinwheels, skipping instead of walking, jumping on the bed, making forts, going through my moms jewls and thinking she was a queen... and that i really was a princess.. hee hee... picking all the daffodils in the neighborhood... making tea hats out of paper plates, these times when this is all that went through my little mind. I wanted to go back... just for a few moments... and so, nibbling on my perfect pb&j,... thats just what I did... hee hee
